{Fun in the Sun}

OBX 2011

We just got back from a week long trip to the OBX. We stayed on Hatteras Island in the small town of Waves. The weather was perfect, in the upper 80’s and sunny all week. We collected tons of shells,  walked along the beach, played in the sand for hours, went to Jockeys Ridge State Park, The NC Aquarium, but mostly spent the time relaxing by the ocean. We built many sandcastles, buried many feet, drew many pictures in the sand, and made many mermaids on the beach. We swam in the sound and hunted for craps and watched the sunset and after it got dark we chased the ghost crabs around the beach. FUN!  (yikes–they pinch ..hard)

{Turkish Day}

My hand is so sore from all the photos I have taken over the last 2 days.  I took over 700 photos yesterday at a photo shoot in the woods and over 200 today between the two events we had. We got to spend the afternoon in Chapel Hill and listen to alot of wonderful music.  Andrew had two performance so there was alot of wonderful music to listen to today. Did a fun session with a friend of mine  and her family at Hemlock Bluffs in Cary this past week. The last of the colorful leaves helped make for some interesting light and very warm colors also due to the fact it was a pretty late day session.
