I went to Historic Yates Mill Pond Park today for a Autumn portrait session. The weather was beautiful and the leaves are still changing. Yates Mill Pond is one of my favorite parks in the area.

I had the honor to photograph an Internationally Acclaimed Middle Eastern dancer, teacher, and author from Washington. Tamalyn was here teaching workshops and classes and promoting her book “40 days and 1001 Nights” . She was such a wonderful person and am glad I got to spend some time working with her.

I took some portraits of a good friend of mine who is also a photographer and dancer. We wanted to experiment and we tried a new look. I am really enjoying the studio and experimenting with the lighting.
